Document, Encourage & Inspire!
Pintura De Mercedes was created to document, encourage and inspire artists around the world. Since 2020, Mercedes has donated artwork & volunteer services as well as vended with Somos Arte (Chicago), participated as a vendor with Las Lolitas Bodega (Humboldt Park), has been featured and vended at the Afri Caribe Cultural Center (Humboldt Park), vended and donated artwork to The Honeycomb Network (Paseo Boricua), painted a community food pantry for The Harvest OG (Roseland), exhibited at MeLatte Coffee Shop (Logan Square), Black Luxe Candle Co. (Wicker Park) and has held private sip & paint events at The Grand Kimball Lodge (Logan Square) as well as her very first solo show in 2023, "Beneath The Canvas", a series of self-portraits.
